Crypto never stops. It still has a Monday

A popular belief: “crypto trades every day, so the day of the week doesn't matter.”

The data: big price swings on a basket of coins, day by day. Monday gets 1.40 times an even share, Saturday only 0.51. Both held in the earlier and in the later half of the history. The other days sit between 0.80 and 1.17, where 1.00 is an even share.

This says when prices move, not which way.
